Your data stays yours
No account, no ads, no Ameisi servers. All data stays on your devices. The optional sync on Apple devices runs through your private iCloud — Ameisi can’t see anything.

Frequently asked questions
Where is our data stored?
Locally on your devices. On Apple devices you can optionally turn on family sync via your private iCloud — shared only with people you invite yourself. Ameisi runs no servers and can’t see your data.
Do we need an account or internet?
No. Ameisi works without registration and fully offline. Only the optional Apple family sync needs an iCloud account — yours, not ours.
Do iPhone and Android sync with each other?
No. Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) sync with each other via your iCloud. The Android app is fully local — Google’s backup helps when switching devices.
Is pocket money tied to chores?
No, on purpose — experts advise against it. That’s why rewards in Ameisi are experiences, from movie night to a zoo visit. Money only appears as optional “extra jobs”.
Can parents review completed chores?
Yes, if you want. In approval mode a checked-off chore only counts once a parent confirms it. An optional parent PIN also protects settings and redeeming.
How much does Ameisi cost?
Free for one family member — with all core features. Ameisi Plus unlocks your whole family, plus custom chores, custom rewards and full editing. Monthly or yearly, first 3 days free, cancel anytime — and thanks to Family Sharing, one subscription covers the whole family.
What age is Ameisi for?
The whole family. All chore and reward suggestions are staggered by age — from making the bed to washing the car — and fully customisable. You decide what applies in your home.
